Textile Art – Introduction
I make wall hangings or wall fabric of felted wool and hand-painted and screen-printed silk. The wall hangings consist of free work and commissioned work and vary greatly in size, from about 0,30 x0,40 m2 to composite work of many dozens of m2.
I also make scarves, mainly in silk.
I like to combine techniques of felting wool with silk. It create richer texture and depth to the fabric.
In fact, everything can be an inspiration to me, from cities to countries, nature and seasons to people and connections.
I write a newsletter quarterly. Please send an email if you wish to receive these.
